Creative Craft World ...Eggciting new challenge

At Creative Craft World its time for an eggciting new challenge..... One that some get excited about my name ( Choccy ;O) ) Have you worked out the theme yet ? ....... Yes its Easter ;O) lol We are sponsored by the Fantastic Stitchy Bear Stamps I wanted to make a fun card so heres my DT card.

Its using an image by Stitchy called 'Egg Hunt' which is available to buy here. I do love this fun image. It was so much fun to colour i now have a range of colours ready to make cards :O)

I coloured the image with my Promarkers, then added abit of glossy accents/ stickles to the egg. Stickles and Glossy Accents can now be bought at the Creative Craft World store , here.

Ribbon and gems were from my stash.

The papers that i used on my card are also available at Stitchy Bear Stamps and are by Panda bear Designs.

GDT for Tip Top Tuesday

Im such a happy Choccy today :O) Ive been asked to be a GDT over at Tip Top Tuesday . So heres my card. The theme is to use something nature inspired. Ive used a gorgeous digi image by Jess At Floppy Latte Designs. You can buy her digi images here. Its called Floral Basket Heres a close up of the beautiful image. I coloured the image with Promarkers all apart from the basket which i coloured with Distress Ink. I made 2 copies of the image and added an extra set of butterflies wings. You can click on the image to enlarge it. It has lots of glossy accents and stickles on the card. It was a fun and gorgeous image to colour. I will be using it again.... and again. I put the image onto a piece of distressed purple card and then onto Purple spotted DP. The ribbon was added and then the gems. OSAAT Colab time and Mothers Day/ Babies

I was lucky enough to get to play with an image from Digis with Attitude this week. Her name is Rockband Tween.. How gorgeous is she ?

I coloured Rockband Tween with promarkers. Then of course it needed some glossy accents and stickles for abit of shine ;o) I used my Cricut to make the sentiment and then added afew gems.

I also was so excited when i was asked to get to play with a colab image. Mom was designed by Gingerloft. You can buy gorgeous images by Tami at Gingerloft here.

Here again i used my Promarkers to colour this fun image and added stickles to give her a shiney t shirt . I added some cream ribbon to the edge of the card after i had added th DP which i used my Martha Stewart corner punch to add interest to the corners. For extra shine i added a line of stickles next to the ribbon and gems in the cut outs. I tried again to make a quilled flower lol... I used glossy accents to hold it all together which worked really well. Next time i will try and use proper quilling paper instead of an off cut of card. The green was green all the way through but the purple had a white core. I suppose it adds interest though LOL

CCW Sugar and Spice

Debs says ' Something for the boys'

My DT card this week is Something for the Boys and Christmas Club.

Its using a FANTASTIC image by Kelleys Kids her name is Nellie Nog and i think shes been drinking the whole cup of eggnog lol. You can buy her here . I thought she was perfect for a male card.

Heres a close up of Nellie.

The card has been made by colouring the image with Promarkers. I then covered that glass cup with Glossy accents to give it a shine. She of course needed Stickles on her wings to give them a glitter ;O)

I embossed a piece of silver mirror card with my snowflakes folder and then cut out a white snowflake and scattered it with gems. It was placed onto a Christmas DP and a sentiment from craftwork cards was popped on to 'finish' my card.

Lou loves Bling and Mothers Day

Another Wednesday means another fantastic Challenge over at Creative Craft World. This time the challenge has been set by Lou. She would like to see your Bling. So glitter and gems are the way to go. Sue reminded us that its Mothers Day in UK on April 3rd..

For my card. I have used Robyns' Image. Dragonfly.

I coloured my image with Promarkers and then gave them a blingy coat of glossy accents and a sprinkle of gems. The image was then backed with an orange glittercard. I gave the image and glittercard a little squeeze with my Martha Stewart punch. Dusted with a few more gems and that was it. A blingy card that will be going to my Mother in Law.

Heres a closer look at the image. Well thats my blingy/mothers day card. I cant wait to stop by and see yours.

Heres a quick male card that i had to put together for a birthday that nearly slipped away... I really must make use of that expensive diary that i bought ;O)

The image was coloured with Promarkers and then i added glossy accents to give the paintwork abit of a shine ;O)

For this challenge i was lucky enough to be able to use their Easter Egg washing line digi image.
Heres my card that i made.

I coloured the image with my Promarkers. Then added abit of glossy accents and my metallic pens. The little bling squares are mosaiac tiles that i bought and were perfect for this 'bling' project.

Double happy this week as i also got to work with a fabulous image from Sylvie from Sylvie Stamps.
As soon as i saw this gorgeous image i knew that was the one i had to use. Mermaid is a beautiful image inspired by Gustav Klimt. Its available to buy here. The image just shouted to be 'blinged'. It wanted lots of silver, gold and bronze. So thats just what i gave it.


This card is SOOOO sparkly it was very hard to photograph. The image was coloured with Promarkers and my metallic pens. I inked the edge of the white card in silver. Then backed it with silver glitter card. With a few gems on the image and the card.

My Card

My Creator that i had to work with this week was Tami who is Ginger Loft..
I must admit i saw this image which was part of a set of Trees and fell for it instantly.. You know how sometimes you just see a certain image and it has so many possibilities that it makes it into a perfect image ? Well this is one of those !! It could be spring, summer , autumn or even winter depending on how you chose to add colour to the sky, the grass or even the Design Papers that you put with it. The image that i used is available to buy here.

To make my card. I used a Promarker on the grass and for tree trunks. But then coloured around the main image using Mica powder. Green onto the grass. Blue for the sky and part of the sky in yellow to represent the sun.. If you click onto my card it should open up bigger.

I then backed the image with a light green plain paper then onto a yellow and green Design paper. I used my MS frond punch to make the leaves at the bottom of the card using a piece of green card. Finishing off the leaves with a gem on the tip.. I really think that the leaves match those on the DP ,so had to be used ;O) The charm is a tree one that i bought a pack of. For when i eventually Scrap my family tree ;O) It was attatched using a piece of gold thread and a foam pad to keep it in place.

CCW Scrap Map

Creative Craft World. Card for a Male

Over at Creative Craft World Challenge blog.

Its Card Crazy Challenge time again.
This fortnight Sarah A chose 'Card for a male'. So anything goes as long as the card is for a man/boy.

The DT were lucky enough to play with 3 images from The Crafty Pad . Me , being me, couldnt resist in making a card with each image ;O)


My DT cards:


For my first card . I coloured the image using Promarkers adding Glossy accents to his wellies and Stickles to the river to give the effect of glistening water. It must be a really warm day right ? As hes shaded under a tree. So the water would shine. I kept my backing papers plain so that they didnt take away any interest from the image. But i embossed it using my cuttlebug to give abit of texture. I did this with all 3 of my cards. The sentiment came with the image.

My second card is made using this fantastic giraffe. What a perfect image for a childs birthday card. I wanted to give this card a fun feel using bright colours to attract a young child. Again i used blank backing paper that had been embossed. This time adding 3 gems to the front of the card.

My third and final card for this challenge is another giraffe image. What a great image. I used a lighter backing paper that had been embossed in stars. So the card wouldnt stand out too much as being late ;O) But added a few gems just to finish it off.
